Railway Express Agency featured advertising billboards on the sides of many of their trucks from the 1920's through the 1970's. The REA advertising division produced an enormous amount of revenue for the company during its history. Sometimes the billboard simply advertised Railway Express itself but many times they featured companies such as Wrigley's Chewing Gum and other consumer products. Additionally, cigarette companies such as Camel, Lucky Strike, Winston and other popular brands were frequently seen on the sides of trucks.
